Visa and Visa Arrival
Information about obtaining a Thai visa can be obtained from the Royal
Thai Consulate or Embassy in your country. Visitors from 55 countries (please
check at the Royal Thai Embassy in your country) can now obtain 15 day visas
on arrival at Terminal 1, Don Muang International Airport. A fee of 300 baht
(US $8) must be paid and 2 photos of 1 inch x 1 inch are required. An express
photo service exists which costs 120 baht for 4 photos. Please note that guests
departing by air are required to pay an airport tax of 500 baht at the airport.
Climate
The average temperature during December will be about 27 degrees centigrade.
Sunny days can be expected most of the time.
Transport Information
Don Muang International Airport is about 25 kilometers from the city center.
A taxi booth is located in front (NOT inside) of the arrival hall in Terminal
1. Please look for "Public Taxi" sign. The fare is based on the meter
plus 50 baht surcharge.
